Artevistas gallery Barcelona presents recent works by the young artist Hartz, gathered in the “MY IDOL” exhibition, through which he honors some of the people who have shaped the twentieth century. Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, Mona Lisa, Che Guevara, David Bowie, The Beatles, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Basquiat, Frida Kahlo, Jane Birkin, Serge Gainsbourg, John Lennon, Gandhi, Picasso ... Hartz's portraits take us around the world and it is after a period of intense research that the artist returns with an aesthetics focused on Street Art for his new "MY IDOL" exhibition: if pop art consists in “using images from the worlds of popular culture” and portrait refers to “visual expression mimicking human appearance”, Hartz has managed to merge two of the most recognizable styles in the art world.
