Julia von Boehm named International Fashion Director at Interview Germany‏

Julia von Boehm will join the ranks of German Interview Magazine as International Fashion Director starting February. Chairman Bernd Runge is thrilled to have Julia von Boehm on board and convinced that with her input German Interview Magazine will be able to further reinforce their status as one of the leading fashion magazines in Europe. Julia von Boehm lives and works in New York and will drive Interview Germany’s fashion profile in close collaboration with the Fashion Director in Berlin, Klaus Stockhausen. As a graduate of the respected Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale in Paris, Julia von Boehm kicked off her career as Carine Roitfeld’s assistant. Following their mutual work with Tom Ford and Mario Testino for Gucci, she later followed Roitfeld to French Vogue for whom she also worked as a correspondent from New York. In the most recent past, Julia von Boehm has produced editorial and cover shoots for English and American Harper’s Bazaar as well as German, Russian, Japanese and Chinese Vogue, CR magazine and V magazine. In addition, she consulted brands including Rodarte, Trussardi, Max Mara, and Theory and has styled campaigns for YSL, Bvlgari, Equipment, Escada, Y3 and Tom Ford. Julia von Boehm works with photographers including Terry Richardson, Mert and Marcus, Mario Sorrenti, Patrick Demarchelier, Sebastian Faena, Ben Hassett, Dan Jackson, Alasdair McLellan, Camilla Akrans, Cedric Buchet, Tom Munro and Craig McDean. She's already looking forward to working for German Interview Magazine and contributing an international perspective. To her it'll be a great challenge and enormous fun. Julia von Boehm's first shooting for Interview Germany will appear in the April issue, which hits newsstands on 20 March.
