Steal Berlin started with the simple t-shirt, the ‘universal’ clothing item, that was embellished and elaborated upon using a variety of finishes and dying techniques. Often the methods used by Steal Berlin, previously known as Sternitzke and Old, are individual to each shirt and the production of each style is limited. This is a much more hands-on approach to street wear, imbued with craftsmanship and personal contact. By taking classic items as their starting point, and re-imagining them through incisions, geometric sectioning, patchwork and dyeing, Steal Berlin’s collections always demand a closer look. Steal Berlin is now available at KONZEPT86 in Berlin which is located at The Wye, Skalitzerstraße 86.
