There's a new label for creative, unique jewelry out there: ANDRESGALLARDO. The designer behind the brand, Andrés Gallardo, studied fashion design in Madrid and began creating one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces for friends, local stores and special orders while working for several Spanish fashion companies. As the project expanded he teamed up with his friend Marina Casal, a Madrid-based graphic and textile designer, and they launched his namesake brand. Andrés Gallardo has no formal jewellery training. His personal world of wild animals and out-of-context materials take shape intuitively, handcrafting every piece thru improvisation and meticulousness. So far he created two theme-oriented collections: Brokenporcelain and Tribe. Tribe is based on hand-stitched vintage ribbons which are connected using metal and leather trimmings which result in a juxtaposition of geometric shapes and organic patterns of vibrant colours. The Brokenporcelain collection is inspired by elements of flora and fauna. Metal, leather and crystal fragments are combined with porcelain figures that have been reworked and set into whimsical, nature-based jewelry pieces. Porcelain figures are broken and repolished by hand and then assembled into subjective and sometimes surrealistic compositions. If you love individual jewelry then visit
