032c winter issue "THE CHERMAYEFF CENTURY" out now‏

032c presents the first in a series of T-shirts designed by artists, exclusively for the magazine. MARC BRANDENBURG’s graphic re-interpretation of the iconic nude photo of Yves Saint Laurent, taken to Laurent’s own specifications by Jeanloup Sieff, is the absolutely modern and confident portrait of the homosexual man. The T-shirt was produced on the occasion of his exhibition MARC BRANDENBURG for the 032c Workshop vitrine last month.

And the 22nd issue of 032c Magazine is out now with Serge Chermayeff , the charismatic Russian tango-champion-turned-design-legend who began the creative dynasty featured in this issue’s 32-page cover dossier. Meet Ivan Chermayeff, the original Mad Man, Peter Chermayeff, aquatic architect, and Berlin’s newest spark plug, Sam Chermayeff, with essays, interviews and memories by Carson Chan, Thomas Demand, Michael Rock, and Hans Ulrich Obrist. Furthermore Jürgen Teller and Irina Kulikova maraud in Sylvie Aubrey’s masks on 44 pages and you'll also get to read stuff about New York’s preeminent avant-garde skate shop Supreme; Calvin Klein's Men's Creative Director Italo Zucchelli; Clemens Weisshaar's seven pronouncements on design, simulation and competition; Ana and Danko Steiner pack some heat and Cornelius Tittel resurrects the sex and and successes of Jiri Georg Dokoupil. Also featured: the 20th century’s best-dressed journalist, Hamburg media myth Fritz J. Raddatz gets canonized. And 032c's SELECT presents the best of this season’s books, products, and ideas; a special front section finally tells readers WHAT THEY BELIEVE, and so much more on 260 pages…. You can order directly from 032c workshop
