ACHTEINHALB presents: KATJA RUGE "Kann denn Liebe Synthie sein?"

ACHTEINHALB and Katja Ruge will be asking the question: "Kann denn Liebe Synthie sein?" (Can love be Synth?) from July 15 until September 08, 2011. Katja Ruge will be showing her Synthesizer Stills as never seen before. At the vernissage at ACHTEINHALB concept store in Berlin on Friday, July 15, Katja will be at the turntables herself to get you synthesized at her exhibition opening. Together with Frank (Lovegang), she will be bringing the "Kann denn Liebe Synthie sein?" party concept from Hamburg to Berlin for the very first time and you're invited to party with them at the vernissage from 7 pm on July 15.
Katja Ruge, born in Hamburg, works as a freelance photographer for a variety of magazines and companies in the areas of portraiture, music, lifestyle and photo essay. After her studies in graphic design and her apprenticeship as a photo lab assistant, she worked as lab assistant, a photo assistant and an art director. Since 2000 she has worked as freelance photographer for German magazines such as Intro Magazine, Rolling Stone, Musikexpress, Joy and Prinz. Some of her clients are Warner Music Group Germany, PIAS Recording GmbH, Four Music, and Universal, among others. In addition to exhibitions in Dessau and Hamburg, Katja Ruge has exhibited in galleries in Brussels, Graz and Tarifa. The photographer lives and works in Hamburg, Germany. For more about her visit
