Markus Lupfer Fall/Winter 2011

During London Fashion Week last month Markus Lupfer presented his fall/winter 2011 collection at the 'Sanderson'. With this collection Markus Lupfer sets out on a journey through enchanted forest landscapes. The German designer who is based in London is exploring nordic and hibernal mountainous regions: The glittering light of the sun on white snow appears in form of metallic Lurex which is woven unobtrusively into modern tweed coats and dresses. Wild foliage is the obvious source of Lupfer's colour palette. A master of slogans Lupfer announced also for this fall a good-humored message: "You look really good today" he wrote in sequins on simple knit forms. His signature - the kissing lips made of sequins - found a new muse for fall/winter 2011. Lara Stone's notorious tooth gap is emblazoned already on a series of sweaters and T-shirts. More:
