Michalsky Spring/Summer 2011 Womenswear and WWF Collaboration

MICHALSKY's spring/summer 2011 collection has been presented at the second MICHALSKY StyleNite during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin this July. It's inspired by endangered animals and titled 'Endangered Species of the Northern Hemisphere'.
The designer is also supporting the WWF Germany with the new line "PROTECT!" MICHALSKY for WWF. "PROTECT!" should make the public aware of the goals and projects of the WWF Germany and help preserving the inimitability of the nature. With artistic animal illustrations the designer makes the fashion world aware of the beauty as well as the fragility of the nature. The cool, sustainable T-shirt collection is made of organic materials and the print technique meets the eco-standard of Hohenstein Institute. The prints on the Ts display three endangered species of the northern hemisphere: the Iberian Lynx, the Atlantic puffin and the Monarch butterfly. The main share of the T-shirt sales will be donated to the WWF and the collaboration will be continued longterm and should be extended in the following seasons. The collection is available now in all MICHALSKY stores, at selected retailers and online on www.michalsky4wwf.com.
