NO IFS Fall/Winter 2010

NO IFS - a new German fashion label - debuted their first collection at Berlin Fashion Week. The collection named 'I try to be a better human being' is a mix of streetwear, casual wear and street fashion with much love for the details. Kilian Kerner dressed women in wrap blouses and high waisted trousers with front buttons in Marlene Dietrich style. Grey hooded dresses with big pockets underline the cool sportivity that marks the whole collection and short, slightly waisted dresses of plaid wool with sewn in elastic band create a casual silhouette. The menswear focused on blouson-like jackets which are accentuated by red and blue striped cuffs and disconnected top stitchings in the shoulder area. Trousers vary from denim to sweat pants to 5-pockets with drop-crotch and hoodies come in overlong, slender forms. The dominating colours are black and grey are accentuated with bright red and dark blue as well as plaids, hound's-tooth and wafer patterns.
With such a great start it'll be exciting to see how this label will develop in the future.
